Occupational Health and Safety training, which our university employees are required to attend in accordance with relevant legislation, will be conducted via distance learning for all our employees, in accordance with the 7th paragraph of Article 12 of the legislation, which was amended on March 5, 2025, and the decision taken by our University’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee on May 15, 2025. and the decision taken by our University’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee on May 15, 2025, will be conducted via distance learning for all our staff.

In this regard, the training that all staff members are required to take has been uploaded to the Distance Learning System under the main heading of Occupational Health and Safety Training. All staff members will use their e-mail addresses ending with “aku” (e.g., abc@aku.edu.tr) as their username and the password associated with their email address as their password when logging into the Distance Learning System (https://ues.aku.edu.tr). Each training program consists of a separate training video, a pre-course exam, and a post-course exam, all of which are assigned to the staff in the system. In order for the staff to be considered successful in the relevant training program, they must score 70 or above on the post-course exam. Staff members may take the post-course exam up to 10 times, but if they still fail, they must contact our Occupational Health and Safety Coordination Office. Additionally, staff members who began working at our university after March 12, 2025, and whose remote education system does not include the main heading of Occupational Health and Safety Training must also contact our Occupational Health and Safety Coordination Office.
