Firstly, our Distance Education System operates in synchronization with the Student Information System (OBS). Students enrolled in our university’s double major programs cannot view courses from two different departments on the same screen in the distance education system. Students must log in to the system using the student number and the Student Information System (OBS) password of the relevant department to view the courses of the department they wish to view. For example, if someone is a double major student in the “Management Information Systems” and “Computer Engineering” departments,
– To view Management Information Systems Department courses, they must log in to the distance education system using their Management Information Systems Department student number as their username and use the OBS password assigned to their Management Information Systems Department student number as their password.
– To view Computer Engineering Department courses, they must log in to the distance education system using their Computer Engineering Department student number as their username and use the OBS password assigned to their Computer Engineering Department student number as their password.
Our unit does not have the ability or authority to set an OBS password. You can change your OBS password using the password reset link at https://obs.aku.edu.tr/oibs/std/login.aspx. Changing your password will also change it within the Distance Education System (Eğitim365). If you encounter any issues with your OBS password, please contact the student affairs office of your department.
